Owner Libby Haynes has had a lifelong passion for design, watching her mother make their many houses become homes as the family moved constantly for her father’s job at a major oil company. An avid collector, Libby regularly shops antique shows and small shops throughout the U.S. to bring new and unique treasures to the store’s inventory. The relationships Libby has cultivated in the industry bring one-of-a-kind products not only from this country, but France, India, Mexico & Russia to add to the store’s mainstay of reproduction furniture. Her eclectic style is reflected in her own home, which has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens. Libby’s interior design expertise has been tapped for home and business projects throughout Dallas.

Libby began her design career with Harold’s and Ralph Lauren before moving to Anteks Home Furnishings, where she used her experience in fashion to influence her cutting edge home design creations. While there, Libby helped lead the western trend in home furnishings and was the buyer and merchandiser for the six company stores before the chain was sold in 1999. Libby then helped start Estancia Home Collection in the Dallas design center, which later moved to Lovers Lane. The showroom specialized in design for homes, restaurants and hotels.

During that time, Libby developed a vision for a mix of furniture, accessories, artwork and lighting that would be unlike any other boutique in Dallas. In 2003, she turned that concept into a reality with the purchase Armoires & More. Today, she continues to sift through the abundant design market to bring new items to the store week after week. She is committed to giving clients an ever-changing collection of merchandise that always retains her unique, warm and welcoming style.

"I enjoy designing and putting a room, entire house or office environment together. The best part is visualizing the perfect piece and then searching for it. We fill the store with one-of-a-kind furniture, accessories and lighting that can transform a simple space into a warm and inviting room that ultimately sets the right mood for a business or home."
